Ayurveda’s Gift to Skin-Care! While trying to look for new and improved ways to take care of your skin, you might forget to take a look back at history. You see, people have been trying to maintain their skin health and look youthful for thousands of years. Naturally, there must be an immense pool of knowledge containing all the methods that ensure beautiful skin. Fortunately, there is and it’s called the Ayurveda.
Ayurveda has all the answers you might need and more. If you didn’t already know, it is an ancient medicine system that emerged out of India. And it is still widely used in the Indian subcontinent as an alternative form of therapy. As far as skincare is concerned, Ayurveda prescribes many different techniques. And the massage with Kansa Wand happens to be one of the easiest and most effective ones. This procedure is extremely important because the lymphatic system of the human body deals with the clearing of waste materials. Massaging with the Kansa wand can enhance the healing process.
This as result, brightens the skin, reduces the pores, reduces puffiness, dark circles around the eyes, improves the jaw line, clears acne, reduces acidity, and more.
Now, the energy aspect; since Kansa is a highly conductive metal, it is said in Ayurveda that it can balance your chakras and stimulate the marma points on your face. Marmas are the points where there is a high concentration of life energy. When the Kansa wand rolls over these points, a lot of stagnant energy is released from them which facilitates the balancing of the doshas, hormones, internal organs, chemicals, and more.
The physical and energy healing initiated by the Kansa wand massage can do wonders. The best part is that it is easy and can be done every day.
How Does The Kansa Wand Work?
As a system, Ayurveda takes a holistic approach to healing. For skincare, it views facial massage as a technique that not only touches upon the physical aspect but also the energy aspect. As such, it seeks to balance the pH level of your skin, release blocked energies from your chakras (energy centers in the body), and balance your doshas (the different types of forces/energy in the body).
This makes the Kansa wand the perfect tool to be used in the form of therapy. Its shape and the materials used in it, make sure that you receive the best holistic treatment for your skin every single time. But, how exactly does it work?
Well, the Kansa wand is a small (4-6 inches) wooden-handled tool that contains the Kansa metal at the tip. The Kansa metal is considered sacred in Indian tradition and our wands are blend of nearly 80% copper, tin, and zinc. The shape of this wand helps you apply deep massage on all the tissues of your face.
“Incorporated into these amazing maneuvers, it aids in draining the lymph nodes in and around your face and neck which does most of the physical healing”.
