What do I need to do to become a tutor?
In order to train to become an Ayurvedic therapist you will need to meet the following requirements:
Be passionate about holistic therapies.
Be driven to become the best therapist you can be all in the name of helping people and passing on the benefits of the therapies.
You must have qualified as a therapist with The College of Ayurvedic Therapies and have been practicing for a minimum of one year.
You must complete a business plan which demonstrates that there is a need for a tutor in the city or country that you would like to teach in.
What does the course involve?
The training will be given over the course of five days.
As the college has tutors in most countries, in some instances, you may be able to complete your tutor-training course close to home.
If not, you will have to attend the London Center or be a host for the training in your city.
As part of the course, you will assist your tutor in teaching new students as a trainee tutor.
This on-the-job training will provide you with fantastic experience of what training new pupils will really be like.
There will also be one-on-one sessions with your tutor.
Fee to become a Tutor:
Single therapy £2500 (5 Days)
Any two therapies £4000 (7 days)
Any further course added would be just £1500 per addtional course.
What happens after qualifying as a tutor?
You will then be entering into the Contract with LCIC and will be listed on the website as accredited tutors.
